The greatest sin of love
Is but a mark
The greatest sin of love
Will tear your heart apart

You’ll find a love
Ever so true and deep
But alas, time will pass
And make your soul weak

It’ll tear your heart to pieces
Attacking the very core
Destroy your very soul
A soul to have no more

This lover, once true
Will leave you feeling blue
Alas, he has found a new one
To spark his dastardly heart

Beware, my young lovers
For this proves truth
Love is great demon
Destroying hearts of fools

I tear my heart open. I sew myself shut. My weakness is, that I care too much. And my scars remind me, that the past is real. I tear my heart open, just to feel.

I was actually inspired by how Romeo was talking of how Rosaline broke his heart.

I remember that part! it's very awesome! I can only write poems inspired by shakespeare while i'm reading it though. I've been trying to write a poem about Ophelia from Hamlet but i don't have enough inspiration

Ah, I read that it was the quote of Romeo discussing Rosaline. For a second, I was sure it was Mercutio's monologue. It's very beautiful, and I see what you mean. Very very good. :)

Must add, though. Not my view of love, but I can understand the perspective. Nonetheless, very good.

why thank you :] I don't remember the exact quote that inspired it, but it was from Romeo and Juliet. Its pretty much my view of love, although I love the feeling of love
