With quick speed goes the wave
Out from mother ocean’s hands
Alas, it soon will retract back to her
For the world has been cruel to it

Wind brushes against human cheeks
Asking just for someone to play
Alas, its request to be denied
For the world is too busy for it

Meadows grow in hopes of prancing
Wishing for one to run through it
Alas, it will soon die in vain
For the world cares only for itself

Snow falling in hope of awe
Wishing to shock its homely spectators
Alas, melting is all it shall do
For the world does not care for beauty

Birds chirp creating melodies
Hoping happiness will be created
Alas, it will only be of annoyance to us
For the world does not care for happiness

I assume that the "world" you speak of in this poem is really humans.? because thats what it seemed like to me. i liked how you gave the emotionless emotions like the weather, seas, and land. its different and i like it.

I really like this. You've got a perfect metaphor going here and you used your words right too.

No this isn't a subliminal message.
